Mr. Gaylord Flicker has been selected by the Lutheran Education Association as a National Distinguished Lutheran Principal and by the United States Department of Education as National Distinguished Principal. He was presented these awards first in San Diego, California, and then in Washington, D.C.

These are the highest honors given in the United States to administrators by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and the United States Department of Education.

Mr. Flicker was recently featured in the book 12 Habits of Successful Principals.
